 SUBMIT YOUR REPORT

Please remember to contact the website at the email address below, when animals are re-united with their owners or re-homed  anne@syorkspetslostnfound.co.uk  This email address can also be used to report any problems you may encounter with the website eg. uploading information.

To send a photo, click the “browse” button on the form above, this allows you to then find and open the folder or file on your computer, where you store your photo’s. Click once on the photo of your choice, then click “open”  The file name of the photo will appear in the text box next to the Browse button, you will not see the actual photo.. Click on “Submit form” when you are finished. If you make a mistake delete the incorrect text and
re-type or click on the “Reset/clear” button and start again.

Please consult the “cat colour/marking guide” which can be found on the “cat “ tab on the navigation bars found at the top & bottom of all the site pages, to avoid mis-identifying common colour/marking descriptions.
Tabby & Tortoiseshell are regularly mis-identified by owners & finders.
(Only females can be described as “tortoiseshell” Males are never tortoiseshell)
TIPS ON COMPLETING THE FORM
Certain details about pets which would help to positively identify them and eliminate other very similar pets are .. Size, age, eye colour, type of coat, length of coat, collar, ID disc or microchip, any injuries, scars, lost teeth,
coloured or white markings, etc. These details are important include as many as possible in your report, especially if there is no photo available.

FOUND animal reports could contain a small detail that would set them apart from similar animals eg collar colour, this would be withheld from the website listing in order to avoid false claims of ownership. A genuine owner would know about such details
Photo’s are VERY important Please try to submit at least one via the browse button on the form
or click here to attach and send  photos via an email from your computer.
Or email a photo from your mobile phone to anne@syorkspetslostnfound.co.uk
Please do not send photo’s that are attached to a poster  “Word” or other  document.
Please send the original photos directly from your photo folder/files
( Tip: Hold down control key on your keyboard to click on and highlight multiple photo’s in your folders, then release the control key and click open to submit your choices )
Please read all the help information below the form BEFORE sending your report to avoid submitting INACCURATE OR MISSING INFORMATION
Once you have hit the “submit” button you will see a message telling you
“Your form has been sent, please press the back button to return to the form page.”
You will also see the details of your report, please check it and if editing is required click the “back” button on your browser. Please note the form does not automatically clear, so unless you have edited the form please avoid clicking on the “submit” button more than once,
as doing so generates multiple copies
